London House Formerly the village shop and post office, and now a comfortable holiday home for four. Downstairs there is a very comfortable sitting room at the front and a kitchen at the back. The small dining room opens off the kitchen and gives access to the patio garden for guests to enjoy. There is also a double bedroom with shower room on the ground floor. Upstairs is a magnificent bedroom with vaulted ceiling and a double bed. This bedroom has an ensuite bathroom containing a bath with shower over it, a basin and a WC. A charge of £25.00 per week (or part there of) will be made for each dog (guide dogs for the blind and registered assistance dogs excepted). Please let us know if you will be bringing a dog with you. This property will accept a maximum of one dog and it is important not to leave it alone in the cottage if you go out. Around Ninfield Ninfield is a small village, four miles from Battle and three miles from Bexhill on Sea. Battle is best known as the site of the Battle of Hastings in 1066, and today has the ruins of a magnificent abbey. Bexhill on Sea has retained many of the qualities of a Victorian seaside town, which like Eastbourne enjoys more than the UK average hours of sunshine. To the north is Herstmonceux Castle home to the Observatory Science Centre and its astronomical telescopes.
