Bramble Cottage is a charming, detached single-storey cottage set in the village of Akeld near Wooler, Northumberland. Home to two bedrooms including a king-size and a twin, this property can sleep up to four guests. Bed linen and towels included in rent. The bedrooms are served by a bathroom and there is a kitchen/diner and a sitting room. Outside there is a courtyard and ample off-road parking for guests. Bramble Cottage is a wonderful choice for any adventure in the Northumberland countryside. Note: This property does not accept Sunday check ins. Note: Bookings at this property must be a minimum of 2 nights. The Cheviot Goat pub is located on site and is available to guests subject to seasonal opening hours. PLEASE NOTE: The on-site swimming pool and sauna facilities will be open for guest use from 1 April 2026.
Use of the swimming pool and sauna is available for an additional charge and must be arranged directly with the owners prior to arrival.
From 1 April 2026 pool access is charged at £42 per adult per week with shorter stays charged on a pro-rata basis.
Children under the age of 14 are not charged for pool use
The swimming pool is unsupervised and used at guests’ own risk
Children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times and lone swimming is not permitted for anyone under 18
