This property forms half of a 17th-century grain barn and retains many original features, such as exposed timber frame and mullion windows, which may or may not suit more modern tastes. The downstairs of this unique property is impressively spacious for a one-bedroom cottage in Lavenham. As you step inside, you are welcomed into the dining hall where you can sit and enjoy a morning coffee overlooking the stream. The kitchen has plenty of cooking equipment and crockery, and incorporates a dining area to one end. Lying between the kitchen and hall is a lovely cosy sitting room.
