This quiet rural location is perfect for a couples break, away from the everyday. Both cottages offer a bedroom with en-suite and open plan living space on the first floor with French doors leading to a private terrace. Nanjeath Farm was used as a film set for a Rosamund Pilcher story in April 2018. The production team expressed their love for this typical Cornish farm and beautiful buildings. From this perfect central location, the whole of Cornwall is easily accessed. Situated 20 minutes from both The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project, 10 minutes from the picturesque South Cornwall Coast, with its many pretty harbours and inlets and only 20 minutes from the North Cornwall Coast with its miles of sandy beaches and rugged coastline. A little further afield, Land’s End to the west and Dartmoor to the east can be reached within 90 minutes. A short drive away is the cathedral city of Truro, perfect for a day’s shopping or a visit to the theatre, as is the historic harbour of Charlestown, where you can usually see the fascinating old square sail ships. Both the harbour and ships are frequently used for filming many period dramas including the ‘Poldark’ series. An interesting attraction here is Shipwreck Charlestown. The popular fishing village of Mevagissey is also close by, as is Fowey on the beautiful Fowey estuary and a boat trip from one to the other makes a great day out. Beach 5 miles.
