1 Miller's Island, a single-storey lodge, consists of an open-plan living space including a kitchen with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, a dining area, and a sitting area with TV. The bedrooms consist of a king-size with en-suite walk-in shower, and a twin,( zip & link, can be double on request) serviced by a bathroom. Outside, there is a private decking with furniture and hot tub, plus off-road parking for one car. Highchair and travel cot (no mattress) available to hire. Two well-behaved dogs welcome for £30 per pet, per stay, payable to site owners before arrival. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.3 miles, pub 3.3 miles, lake 0.1 miles. Enjoy a serene lakeside getaway at 1 Miller's Island. Note: Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am. Lanreath is a village in southeast Cornwall, five miles west of Looe. Lanreath is rural in character with a local shop and Post Office as well as a parish church. Nearby Pelynt is home to a parish church, a number of local shops and pubs, especially the Jubilee Inn, which was an original farmhouse dating back to the 16th Century. Looe is Cornwall’s second largest fishing port and hence there is always a lively maritime bustle around the quay area of East Looe, which is connected to the quieter West Looe by a seven arched 19th century bridge over the River Looe. The sandy Looe beach adjoins the pier and is very popular with families because of its safe shallow swimming and vast expanse of sand. Polperro is a little further away and is a historic fishing village nestling at the head of a long valley leading down to the sea. With plenty of areas to visit, Lanreath is a quiet, pleasant place offering easy access to the coast, the moors, National Trust properties and Cornwall's famous gardens.
