3 Bedroom House in Newton-on-Rawcliffe
Mallard is a tastefully pine-furnished two-storey cottage. The cottage forms part of a fabulous self-catering accommodation site at the heart of an attractive village in the North York Moors National Park with an on-site leisure suite housing an indoor heated pool, as well as a spa & sauna all exclusive to guests! The cottage sleeps six guests across three bedrooms and welcomes a well behaved dog.
The Space:
The ground floor offers an open-plan and spacious sitting room with a wood-burning stove set in a stone fireplace. The fitted kitchen is separated from the dining area by a peninsula unit with cupboards under.
Also downstairs is a bedroom which can be configured either as a twin or a double through use of a zip-and-link mattress. The room also boasts fitted furniture. Please contact our friendly team to inform us of how you would like the beds set up prior to your stay.
Adjacent to the bedroom is a very spacious, fully-tiled wet room with a bathtub, as well as a shower, basin and a WC.
On the first floor, which has reduced headroom due to the original low beams in the eaves, there are two cosy bedrooms. One is a double overlooking the village green whilst the other is a twin. You'll also find a bathroom with a shower, basin and a WC.
Mallard forms part of the Mel House Cottages site which sleeps up to 19 guests across four properties. Please contact our friendly team prior to your stay to enquire about availability.
Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. Accessible via the downstairs dining area, the wet room incorporates appropriate support rails and thermostatically controlled mixer taps on the basin.
We allow 1 well behaved dog to stay in the property.
Please note that the two shared automatic washing machines and a tumble dryer are sited in a separate laundry room. Charges may apply.
