We are located within the grounds of Finsley Gate Wharf, a historical site that was central to the Industrial Revolution, located on the banks of the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, there are a number of buildings within the grounds.

We have divided the house into 4 designated areas all contained within the cottage. This is not a hotel, it is a totally self-contained house exclusively for your use:
The Sparks Family Suite, 2 Rooms With En-suite Bathroom, Sleeps 6
This is an ideal room for family and friends. It is clean, modern, very comfortable and has been lovingly restored.
Located on the first floor, there are 2 rooms and a bathroom. The largest room of the Sparks Suite has new wooden flooring, a built-in dining table that can seat up to 6 guests and 2 sofa beds that can sleep up to 4 guests. There are tea and coffee making facilities with 6 mugs, 6 tumblers, 6 short glasses, 6 champagne glasses, 6 wine glasses, and a fridge with a freezer. There is a desk/dressing table with mirror, hairdryer, lamp and extension lead for charging phones and laptops, there is also space for hanging and storing clothes.
The bedroom is entered via a door with steps leading into the room. The bedroom comprises 1 built-in wardrobe, double bed, and 2 bedside tables there is also an additional desk/dressing table in this room.
The new, minimal white bathroom leads off from the bedroom and has complementary TRESemmé shampoo and conditioner, Source shower gel, and handwash. Please note, there are plenty of spare toilet rolls in the cupboard under the sink.
The Pemberton Suite, 2 Rooms With En-suite Bathroom, Sleeps 2
This area of the cottage encompasses the communal space, a place where you and your guests can get together and socialise, have some drinks and nibbles or a takeaway and catch up on the day's events.
Located on the ground floor, there are 2 adjoining open plan rooms and a bathroom. The largest room of the Pemberton Suite, which would have been known as 'the front room', has the original stone floor and a large open fireplace. We have a long table with benches that can seat up to 12 guests, there is also a desk/dressing table with a mirror, hairdryer, lamp and extension lead for charging phones and laptops.
The split-level bedroom, our Bridal Suite, is entered via a large open-plan archway that leads from the front room. The bedroom comprises 2 built-in wardrobes, a double bed and 2 bedside tables, There are also tea and coffee making facilities with 12 mugs, 12 tumblers, 12 short glasses, 12 champagne glasses and 12 wine glasses. We have also installed a fridge with a freezer.

As you can see from our collection of photographs, our 19th Century Warehouse and Saw Mill have already undergone renovation and are now open to the public.
Guests are welcome to use the facilities within Finsley Gate Wharf, reservations for the restaurant and café are recommended, especially on the weekend.
Check-out is at 10am, guests can take advantage of the brunch menu at Finsley Gate Wharf which is served from 10am, a good start to the day before heading back home.
