The cottage is in an idilic setting on the Helmsdale strath, close to the village of Helmsdale and the renowned north coast 500 (NC500) tourist route.

Summary: We enjoyed our one night there. The host was quick to respond to texted questions. The train across the street did not disturb our sleep. There were a lot of dvds to choose from for the evening entertainment. The hosts sent a detailed set of instructions which made finding and using the house easy.
