Outdoor and nature enthusiasts will be especially spoiled for choice with the famous Ruby Way (9 miles), Tarka Trail (11 miles), Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks within easy reach (20 and 30 miles respectively), offering great hiking, cycling, fishing, surfing, and horse-riding pursuits in unspoiled countryside. Other attractions are the The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks. Water sports enthusiasts will love the North Devon Wake Park (12.5 miles) where you can experience paddle boarding, wakeboarding or the Aqua Park that hosts inflatable slides, climbing frames and obstacles. Pretty Cornish villages such as Boscastle and Tintagel are also within an hours drive away.
