A utility room and shower room complete the ground floor. Upstairs, an elegant king-size bedroom awaits, with a vaulted ceiling and en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom is on the spacious landing and has a single bed and a pull-out trundle bed to accommodate a fourth guest if needed. To the front of the cottage is a sweet, courtyard where you can sip a morning coffee at the bistro table.
Set out from the village along the quiet country lanes and public footpaths, soaking up the tranquillity and admiring the local wildlife. Afterwards, refuel in one of Walsham le Willows’ friendly pubs. Alternatively, journey to Thetford Forest Park (14 miles), where you’ll find walking trails, cycle tracks, and bridleways in the vast pine forest. There’s also Go Ape for adrenaline-seekers, plus multiple picnic and BBQ areas. The historic town of Bury St Edmunds makes a lovely day out, with its plethora of independent restaurants, regular markets, and atmospheric abbey ruins.
