Summary: The lodge was exactly what we needed for a peaceful family break with our dog. We enjoyed a week of mainly hot weather and loved the outside area to relax. Inside the lodge had everything we needed to be able to cook family meals since the facilities for doing so were very good, and a great gas bbq outside. We ate out once at the White Lion, which was walking distance, and had lovely fish and chips from Golden Plaice which is a 5 minute drive. Julie the host is lovely and very helpful. We would definitely return in the future if we were looking for accommodation in this area.
