Summary: Our 2nd visit to Wheal Metal Lodge and we booked our 3rd whilst we were there. Wonderful base to return to after a day exploring and very cosy if the weather is a bit iffy. Comfort and cleanliness plus a very well stocked/maintained garden to relax in. Great location for exploring this end of Cornwall, nothing seems more than a 40 minute drive away and often much less. Friendly, helpful but not intrusive owners. The benchmark for how a good holiday cottage should be.
