Deep filled sofas surround the large Smart TV and a traditional wood burner provides a warming and homely feel to the room; just perfect for keeping the chill away during the cooler winter months and ideal to snuggle up in front of to watch your favourite holiday movie. The dining table sits to one end and offers plenty of seating for four. This room is flooded with plenty of natural light from feature windows and a glass door leading out to the enclosed garden. Summary: We have stayed here for two consecutive years. It’s a good-sized property, well-maintained, and generally clean but there were dog hairs on one of the sofas and it definitely smells more like dog I. 2024 (on the ground floor only - the upstairs is immaculate) than it did in 2023. I would suggest the property is either deep-cleaned and better aired/odor neutralized after every stay OR only advertised to dog owners. If you have dogs, it is a perfect place to stay with lots of good local walks to enjoy. The owners are very thoughtful and have a lot of helpful info at the property, and it all feels very secure and welcoming. Great view of the sea from the balcony, too! The main road is generally quiet but cars and lorries do speed by there, so take care with animals or young children when leaving via the front door.
