Summary: Unfortunately I cannot describe my stay at Holcot cottage due to the fact I was informed two days before that the property, which I had booked in September 2021, had in fact been double booked. Poor considering the booking was for 1st July 2022. Anyway, I was offered an alternative which was adequate - had my father still been alive this would not have suited his needs so would have struggled. Not impressed with the short notice and the property we were offered although ideally located for the Grand Prix (which is why we had booked). The two flights of stairs to the property was not really an issue for us however needs some much needed TLC it will help! The smell upon entry was a stale unpleasant odur ‘can’t really describe it’ we essentially spent very little time in the property so not that much of an issue in the end.
