Although this delightful property enjoys a peaceful rural setting with gorgeous long distance views, the pretty coastal village of Embleton is only a couple of miles east where there are local facilities as well as access to a glorious stretch of golden sandy beach. A further 3 miles brings you to the traditional fishing harbour of Craster, renowned for its smoked kippers. Travelling a few miles north up the seashore is Seahouses where boat trips to the Farne Islands to see the puffins and grey seals at play is a popular visitor attraction. Alnwick Castle and Garden are also interesting to visit; the market town provides a wide array of amenities.
