From the door there are dog walks to Cragside from the rear of the property and your pet is as welcome as you are at this smart, contemporary-style holiday home. A barbecue is available in the summer for guests’ enjoyment if you want some al fresco dining.
Rothbury has a good selection of bars, cafés and a few shops, and for those who are more active, there are river walks and lovely walks up the Simonside Hills. The location of Rothbury is ideal for those wishing to explore in all directions, being only 12 miles from Alnwick, where the infamous castle lies that was used in the Harry Potter films, and only a few miles from the glorious Heritage Coast.
