Step back in time aboard a heritage steam train on the award-winning South Devon Railway just 7 miles away, and soak up the breathtaking views of the River Dart as it winds between Buckfastleigh (10.5 miles) and Totnes (4 miles). Closer to home, explore Totnes Castle (3.5 miles), one of the finest surviving Norman motte and bailey castles in the country, or venture further into South Hams and explore popular towns such as Salcombe (18 miles) and Dartmouth (9 miles), both boasting seaside charm.
Step inside the characterful cottage and into the hallway area, where there is a beautiful glass-confined staircase. To your left is the dining room area with a large oak table and chairs and wood burner stove in the corner. A contemporary kitchen is situated to the left of the open-plan living space containing a fully equipped kitchen and a breakfast bar area. The lounge offers plenty of seating, a large Smart TV and a wood burner; it offers views out over the river. Also on this floor is a utility area with washing machine and tumble dryer with downstairs WC and access to the rear balcony area. Upstairs on the first floor are four delightful bedrooms. The first is a twin with an en-suite shower room, showcasing stunning views across the creek and with its own private balcony. Next up is a king-size bedroom with en-suite shower room, then there are two double bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom and the other with an en-suite shower room. Upstairs on the second floor is a generous size master bedroom with a super-king-size bed, a TV, a sofa, and an en-suite bathroom with roll-top bath and separate shower.
Outside to the rear of the property is the stunning balcony space suspended over the water with outdoor furniture. Enjoy the fabulous views, feed the local friendly swans, try your luck at some crabbing, or simply enjoy the fresh air and the noise of running water with a glass of your favourite tipple.
