Positive: A very comfortable cottage. The position, garden and views were lovely and the neighbours were very friendly. We were thrilled to able to put heating on in the evenings, as the weather was inclement. The decor and furniture would not be everybody's cup of tea, but we found it added to the cottagy feel and made it relaxing. Helpfully, the second bedroom, which had no bed, and was set up as a dressing room, with an enormous mirror. It also gave us somewhere to stash the cases. Nice touch. Car parking was easy.

Negative: We would have liked a large saucepan for pasta and instructions for some of the gadgets - the microwave was a mystery to us!

Summary: A great stay in a well-placed and comfortable cottage.
