Summary: My stay at a&o Rotherhithe Docklands was truly exceptional for such an excellent price (~$120 USD/night). The property is expansive but the setup and the fantastic staff make it feel cozy and personal. The location right on the Thames is a great bonus and my room directly overlooked the river, which I greatly appreciated. The ferry across the river to Canary Wharf was so convenient and the Thames Path allows one to walk along the water as far as you like. The room was very clean and the bed super comfortable. The only tiny issue was that there was no outlet in the bathroom. The free breakfast offerings are many and diverse, including all the makings of a proper English breakfast. The bar includes a large seating area where guests of all persuasions gather nightly -- live music on Thursday nights! All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 night stay--I didn't want to leave!--and I highly recommend a&o Rotherhithe Docklands.
