Summary: Sadly we never got to Acorn Lodge due to flooding. Sykes recommended contacting the owner via Hotels.com app for advice on access but they never replied. The owner is uncontactable, the only number they give is Sykes in Chester. Sykes direct you to a complaint form. No customer care from either Sykes or Acorn lodge.
