Beautiful 2 bedroom stone cottage, quiet location. sleeps 3/4 (2 kings or 1 king+2 singles) in a pretty side street a few minutes walk to Harrogate Convention Centre. Artists' Corner is one of the five Artists’ Cottages located in Harrogate. Artists' Corner, is a colourful refurbished 19th Century Yorkshire sandstone Cottage has the latest hi-tech kitchen equipment including Neff induction hob, Miele pyrolitic oven, Krups Nespresso coffee machine and De Longhi small appliances. Dishwasher, and separate laundry area with washer/dryer iron and ironing board. The coloured glass in the kitchen gives the special finish. Central heating throughout the property. The sitting room has 2 fabulous velvet sofas (Barker and Stonehouse and Laura Ashley) and a log burning stove to warm up those cooler nights. Vinyl record player, Bluetooth speaker, a selection of board games and books complete the true sense of home.
Ground floor shower room is spacious with waterfall shower head and hand held head and large towel heated rail. Up the typical cottage steep stairs there are 2 well proportioned bedrooms with beds to sink into for a great night's sleep. The master bedroom can be configured King or as 2 singles upon request. The second bedroom can only be configured as a king. The décor has been specially designed for the property and is unique. The art work is carefully chosen and can be purchased from the artists without commission. Great local independent shops, bars, cafes and restaurants on Kings Road just a 5 minute walk. Asda, Co-Op and Local Sainsburys are all in easy reach. Parking is on the roadside, free, with no restrictions. Great location for business traveller or if coming for leisure. USB sockets, work tables in bedrooms with sockets. Free unrestricted secure WiFi throughout. SMART tv. Bluetooth speakers, retro vinyl record player, board games and books.
please note stairs are 19th century - steep not suited to young children or infirm. Stair gates cannot be fitted.
We can provide travel cots and high chairs on request - guests need to supply their own cot bedding.

Guests have sole use of the entire property and patio area. Patio area has alfresco dining for 4, chiminea, BBQ and floral/plant display(summer months)

We live in Harrogate so we are around to answer your questions and to respond to any emergency or questions you may have regarding your stay. We are here to help you to get the most out of your trip. We operate whenever possible, a personal check-in -guests are met at the property and we can show you the local area and point out amenities which might interest you. Our aim is to give guests a truly Yorkshire welcome in a perfect location in which to unwind whether you are in Harrogate for business or leisure.
Central location, Artists' Corner and 3 other Artists’ Cottages are in close proximity, in a quiet neighbourhood just a very short walk from Harrogate Convention Centre and has great local shops and coffee shops on the doorstep. You can walk to the town centre attractions. There are buses and taxis. Easy access to Dales, Lakes and Leeds and York by train, bus or car. A good location to stop over if going from North to South or visa versa. Train station within easy walking distance. Easy free unrestricted on street parking. We recommend taking a taxi if coming by train and arriving with bags - 5 minutes approximate cost £6. There is a regular high speed direct train service from and to Kings Cross London.
Please note all linen and towels are supplied by a third party and are not to be laundered by guests - failure to comply will render guests liable to a 100% replacement costs. We are happy to replenish all linen/towels upon request at cost.
The property is located in a smoke-free zone - so only use kiln dried logs and kindling. Local council can impose on spot fines.
Stair gates cannot be attached. The stairs are unsuited to toddlers, young children and elderly. Caution should be exercised when using stairs. Handrails are provided.

We do not accept animals at this property as it is unsuited to their needs. We have 3 properties more suited to animals, Artists' Place, Artists' Cottage and Artists' House all located in Harrogate.
The property is in a smoke free zone so only use kiln dried kindling and logs- council can impose on spot fines £1000 for non compliance.
Please note the stairs are narrow and steep and in keeping with this design of vintage property there are no hand rails at the top of the staircase and no stair gates can be fitted. So it is unsuited to toddlers and those with mobility issues. Please make sure you use the hand rails and exercise care when using the stairs.
Guests must not launder linen or towels - we are happy to supply extra linen and towels for a small fee. Failure to comply will result in our having to charge you full replacement costs - its a condition of our linen hire. The linen company charge us full replacement costs so we will pass this on to you.
Whenever the property is unattended please ensure all windows and doors are properly secured.
The charging of any electric vehicle or bike or scooter battery directly or indirectly is strictly prohibited.
