Positive: Nice and peaceful- beds comfy lovely welcome basket. Close drive(5 mile country road) to Bamburgh- lovely beach and country side, and all that the surrounding area has to offer. The cottage was very cold even on warm days so I recommend investing in logs or wood before you go and have the fire on every night!! Makes it more cosy and warms it up lovely. You can buy from the garage opposite they are £8 for small bag £13.50 for eco compressed logs(best value they last longer) the small bags would have been £4.50 if I had bought them from local supermarket.

Negative: Not anywhere to walk the dogs near the cottage- there is a small fenced pebbled/paved area at the property, and a small grassed area in front of the properties adjacent to the road but the country road to Bamburgh has no pavement so not the safest place to be walking. There is a farmers field next to the property but Im not sure you can take dogs into it, so to be able to take them for a good walk/run you really need to take them somewhere in the car.
