Summary: There is absolutely everything to love about this wonderful place on the edge of the Peak District. Rachel and Alex are the most gracious of hosts, and run the best B&B accommodation that I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in. The beds are luxurious, the rooms are generous and the added lounge room in our little ‘apartment’ was perfect. There were home made cakes waiting for us upon our arrival, fresh teas and cookies were delivered daily, and the choice and quality of breakfast were second to none. Alex makes the best breakfasts I’ve had in any hotel/b&b, anywhere, for a very very long time. Rachel and Alex as a team are just superb, and in every way, we felt very welcome and very cared for. There is a downstairs communal lounge for the two apartment style rooms, with a self serve bar with extremely reasonable prices. This area was perfect for us to enjoy as we were traveling with family who stayed in the other apartment. We could not recommend this place highly enough.
