The paddock is home to a number of Indian Runner Ducks and Chickens. Visitors are welcome to help themselves to fresh eggs every day! Summary: A great stay.Myself and family (7 of us including grandchildren aged 5 and 2) stayed here for 4 nights as we were in the area for a wedding.The contact with the host was excellent and the accommodation was plenty big enough for all of us to spend time together or equally to have some quiet time.There was plenty of storage space and all the kitchen equipment we needed.We were left fresh baked bread, butter and milk on arrival which was very gratefully received. The area was very peaceful and the children loved going to feed to chickens and collect eggs in the morning. The farmhouse needs a little tlc in some areas but this is an older property so only to be expected but this did not negatively affect our stay at all.I would recommend this property to others and we would stay again if back in the area.
