Located directly on St Leonards seafront, this wonderful Grade 2 listed house has been lovingly restored and blends original, historic detailing with 21st Century amenities and comfort.
The property has been thoughtfully furnished with a blend antique and designer pieces to create a stylish and welcoming space, that is ideal for getting together with friends and family and making new memories .
The house was built in the 1830's by James Burton; the original architect of St Leonards on Sea.
The town was conceived with seaside fun and relaxation in mind and the house has been respectfully restored to extend that purpose into the 21st Century.
The full width lounge is furnished with a selection of designer and vintage pieces, selected for style and comfort; a wonderful spot to enjoy the incredible sea views in any weather.
There is a smart TV, DVD player, Chromecast and Bluetooth speaker for when you tire of the view (which you won't!)
A log burner completes the room.
The kitchen is fully equipped with two ovens, five zone induction hob microwave, two fridges (one with freezer compartment) and a Quooker tap.
We can supply a kettle if you prefer.
The dining room is also equipped with a log burner, plus a huge victorian mahogany table that extends to seat eight comfortably.
There is also a sofa and a piano.
Three out of the four bedrooms have amazing king sized, antique French beds with modern memory foam mattresses.
The fourth bedroom has a king sized bed that can be unzipped to create two singles; please specify if you need singles when booking.
The House occupies three floors in total.
On the ground floor, just by the door to the basement is a room used for storing cleaning supplies, this is not accessible to guests.
We are always available to answer questions and to help make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
Dogs are very welcome at the house, please add your pet to your booking as there is a £30 surcharge to cover the extra post- stay cleaning our furry friends require.
The beach at low tide is doggie heaven (humans may require wellies)
We will leave a doggie beach towel by the front door.
We would greatly appreciate it if you could please leave your shoes in the hallway when you come in.
