Beautiful cottage with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Only 25 minutes from Amsterdam and Utrecht and in the heart of ‘het Gooi’ within walking distance of the center of Laren. The courage has a spacious living / dining room downstairs, a kitchen and a study room. Upstairs there are two spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms. The cottage has its own and beautifully landscaped garden with various seating areas and (in summer) a barbecue.
The cottage was built in 1895 and is beautifully decorated while maintaining original details. At the beginning of the turn of the century the writer Louis Couperus lived on the domain for 2 years. There is fast WiFI available and in the living room you have access to a 55 "smart TV, including Sonos system. The kitchen is fully equipped and also has a Nespresso machine. The cottage is within walking distance of Laren, a beautiful green village in the center of Het Gooi. In Laren numerous luxury shops, restaurants, bars and the Singer Museum can be found. Summary: Such a lovely house to return to after our daily outings. It was perfect for the 4 of us, lots of space and equipped with everything you would need. We relaxed outside enjoying the lovely garden several times, not worrying about spitting rain because the area is covered and has heaters. We could walk into town and enjoyed most of the local restaurants. The town is very nice, and we felt extremely safe walking around.
