Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms, including 1 king, 1 double & 2 twins. There are two bathrooms, one with a large shower & the second with a lovely big bath & blue tooth connection so you can soak away listening to your music.
Downstairs there is a playroom with a futon that can be converted into an additional bedroom to sleep 2 extra guests on the double futon.
At the heart of Paisley House, you’ll find the homely, open-plan kitchen & dining area with a coal-burning stove for cosy evenings. The dining table can seat up to 8 guests & there are two additional seats at the breakfast bar to accommodate a maximum of 10 guests.
The contemporary kitchen area is kitted out with all the appliances you’d expect to find in self catering accommodation, including an oven, microwave, Tassimo coffee machine, kettle, toaster, fridge, and dishwasher.
Leading from the dining room into the living room, you will find a cosy area with a large sofa where you can relax & enjoy the TV or grab a book from the selection on the bookshelf & snuggle down in the large armchair. Just off from the living room is a fabulous workspace with a desk & chair for those who are taking advantage of remote working.
The playroom also opens up into the living room & can be closed off to provide the children with a fabulous space to watch a film while the grown-ups can enjoy doing what grown-ups do!
Outside there are unbroken views over the surrounding Forest of Dean countryside & in Spring the fields are full of lambs! The house is set in a peaceful hamlet far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, it’s the perfect place for a family escape to the country. The nearby village of Bream is within walking distance and a little further is Whitecroft with a fabulous pub set alongside the River Lyd, serving delicious food.
Paisley House is perfectly located in the heart of the stunning Forest of Dean countryside. Hikers and bikers will be spoilt for choice with countless spectacular walking and cycling routes in the surrounding area. The house is ideally set up for muddy boots, bikes & four-legged friends – with an undercover outside area to the back of the house, which leads to the outside utility room with the boiler, washing machine, loo & basin for washing off the mud! Four-legged friends can be left in the utility room if you have a day out planned which may not accommodate dogs.
The perfect hub for a mountain biking break, with bike storage & a large area with a hose for washing down your bikes. Set off direct from the doorstep & explore the fabulous Forest of Dean or head further afield to enjoy a great day out at Bike Park Wales!
