Summary: We stayed 3 nights with two young children in the family room. At 8am after our first night, I told them the shower is draining slowly and that we need more toilet roll and hand soap soon. We left and got back at 3pm and no one had tended to our room. Rubbish not taken out and nothing else touched. So I asked when they’d be around. She said she didn’t know. At some point, someone put toilet roll and soap outside our door on the floor. At 5pm, I asked again about the shower and someone said he’d find the maintenance person. No one showed up. The following day, our room was tended to, but no one ever fixed the slow drain. The water was up to my ankles within a minute of my shower. There was also mold all over the ceiling of the bathroom, and the caulking/grout in the shower had not been wiped clean in a while. A big reason we booked this hotel was because of the indoor pool. What I didn’t realize was that you have to walk out the front door, up the street, and down the side of the hotel to get to the pool entrance. That’s a lot of cold outdoor walking with wet little kids. They also have swim lessons in there where they block off half the pool. The mattresses are the worst I’ve experienced outside of a university dorm room. I wish I hadn’t paid for three nights here. Restaurant service slow, went our whole meal without water. Had to get up to ask for things. But the food was very good! Plenty of parking.
