Positive: Excellent location for peace & quiet. Accommodation was very comfortable. Kitchen facilities excellent. We mostly cooked own food but the owners restaurant was below us- no noise coming from it- and the food was tasty. Kids would walk along to the small beach part along the road every day to gather shells & enjoyed going to the charity shop & ´antiqué shop to spend their holiday money. Five West coffee shop is spacious & rustic; a real curio of nautical interior design which I really liked.

Summary: Would stay here again. Visited Portavadie swimming; Kilbride beach; the community forest.
