Rye is an ancient town Perched on a hill, overlooking the River Rother and Romney Marsh. It has enchanting cobbled streets, a medieval church and beautifully preserved historic houses from medieval, Tudor and Georgian times, giving the town a uniquely unhurried atmosphere.
