High quality period stone cottage in central Alnwick perfect for couples and small families. The cottage has a delightful patio garden which backs onto the original town walls. We make every effort for you to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing stay. Puddleduck cottage has all the local amenities nearby. These include the Alnwick Playhouse. The famous Barter Books, (one of the largest secondhand bookshops in the country, situated in the fascinating old railway station) is just a few minutes walk away and is great for spending a couple of hours reading and enjoying a cup of tea and cake around an open fire. The cottage is located between the Heritage coast and Cheviot hills. Alnwick Castle and Gardens are just a few minutes walk away. The tree house restaurant in Alnwick Gardens is highly recommended (Need to book for evening). Free Wi-Fi is included. Pets not accepted.
