Summary: The apartment was spacious, modern and clean. We had everything we needed - including a hob and oven, a fridge/freezer and a washing machine, as well as the standard hairdryer, iron and ironing board. The building is secure, and despite being close to Oxford Road, we were not disturbed by traffic noise. We were staying at the apartments during the heatwave, and a powerful fan was provided, which was helpful as we were on the top floor and had skylight-style windows, which meant it was swelteringly hot - I'm sure it's nice and cosy in cooler weather though, as there was an adjustable thermostat.
The only inconveniences were the freezer compartment, which would not stay shut, and the fact that we only had one set of keys between two of us. Being fair to the Kennet Apartments team, we didn't ask if there was an option to have a second set.
The Kennet Apartments team were very helpful when I had issues sending the deposit, and by arranging for us to stay extra nights at short notice without having to move apartment. They were also quick to spot that we had left an item behind and organise getting it back to us. We were very impressed with their professionalism and friendliness.
We would definitely stay again!
