Summary: Really lovely property and we very much enjoyed our stay, and is in a beautiful, quiet location, Unfortunately however we found the pillows & duvets to be poor quality (pillows were flat and hard - not “luxurious” and lead to a low quality of sleep and the duvets were not especially soft, the poor end of synthetic scale in my opinion ). One of the bed’s mattress protector had old blood stains on it (and another had other unidentified old stains). Finally, there was food left in the fridge from previous guests which made us doubt how well it had been cleaned. Also it was stifling hot in the property when we arrived so we all slept badly the first night. Overall it’s a really nice property but I think the bedding should be upgraded as undermines what is otherwise a great place to stay, especially if words like “luxurious” are used in the description.
