Lealholm the local village has excellent amenities with a village shop, a post office with a garage, tea rooms, a pub, a cake/sandwich shop, and an outstanding garden nursery, well worth a visit.

Our Cottage style Annexe is a perfect little base for people that want to explore the stunning North York Moors National Park with breathtaking Moorlands and Dale villages, unique Market Towns, or a short drive to the beautiful historic coastline and quaint old fishing villages of Robin Hoods Bay, Staithes, Runswick Bay etc or the famous town of Whitby. Take a ride on the amazing North York Moors Steam Railway. visit the TV show's HEARTBEAT village of Adensfield, ( Goathland) so much to do and see, and we are perfectly based to visit all of these locations.

Summary: We were very happy with our choice of this farmhouse . It is in a beautiful location with amazing views of the dales. Margaret was a great host and always close at hand to answer any of our questions.
