Let’s start with restaurants...There are so many great places to eat around here and more opening all the time. For brilliant brunch, you can’t go wrong with Egg Break. They focus, unsurprisingly, on eggs! Great food with a fun atmosphere. Expect to queue at Granger & Co - this place is very popular with locals. They do a fantastic brunch but don’t disappoint at lunch or dinner either. The Ledbury is an unusual combination of being both a friendly neighbourhood restaurant and the proud holders of a Michelin star. The staff aren’t stuffy and the food isn’t pretentious, but you definitely will need to book well in advance. Fans of Mexican food should head to Santo - they have every kind of tequila you could possibly want, authentic food, and a lively vibe as the night goes on! The Shed is a modern British restaurant where the plates are small but delicious. All the food is seasonal and the dishes creative; it has become a local favourite. Notting Hill has no shortage of pubs. The Churchill Arms is probably the prettiest of them all. Worth checking out even just to Instagram it’s beautiful facade! The Mall Tavern has a traditional English vibe to it; the wooden floorboards are original. Try some ales or work your way through their classic menu - the food is very good. For a pub with a good garden, The Windsor Castle is the place to go. A short walk into Notting Hill and you can relax with some pimms in the buzzing outdoor area. The wooden bar and tiny doorways will make you feel like you’ve gone back in time! Very popular and always has a lively atmosphere. On the weekends Portobello Market is not to be missed. You can spend the day discovering vintage clothes and food stalls - a real buzzy atmosphere. ## Transit You're a 5 minute walk away from Ladbroke Grove underground station - this connects you to the Circle and Hammersmith & City lines. You can get all over London with ease - Westminster and Sloane Square in under 20 minutes.
