A 45m2 open plan chalet style bungalow built in hemp on recycled car tyres with triple glazed windows and doors, equipped with LED lighting and the latest far infrared heating. Green Tourism UK recently assessed the lodge and rated it with a Gold Standard Award with a score of 87%. The lodge also has both green walls and green roofs to enhance the biodiversity of the site. The lodge looks over open fields and has its own private terrace. There is a fully equipped kitchen, a small utility room with washing machine, TV with Sky and free wifi. The lodge has a double bed plus a double sofa bed that can be used to accommodate additional guests.
The lodge is situated just off the Ridgeway national trail and Chilterns Cycleway that together with a dense network of bridle ways and footpaths, offer unlimited on and off-road cycling and hiking.
