Positive: We really appreciated everything about this property. Eric was amazing and went the extra mile - collecting us from the train, good advice about the area and assisting us with our trip to Giethorn. Steenwijk is a gorgeous place and one worth spending some time in.

Negative: There was a bit of noise at night - we were there over the weekend. Eric had warned us that there might be some noise from the local up the road and has tried to address that issue by installing some extra noise barriers. There was some noise both Friday and Saturday night but it was not excessive and just part of having access to accommodation in the very center of the village.

Summary: Fantastic. We stayed an extra night by default and it was well worth it. I would strongly recommend.
