Summary: Spacious room but small window looking out on rooftop so not a space to relax and enjoy particularly. Staff were lovely and very accommodating. Breakfast was pretty standard. Teas and coffee from a flask. The nicer seating area is for spa guests. Spa is a separate business and treatment was lovely but you have to pay to use the sauna, steam room and hit tub. They have their own opening hours and there's no pool which you kind of expect with the Spa Hotel name. Odd location off the road and massive slightly run down park with seating out the front. Lovely on a warm day, but no garden. It's more of a conference /event hotel I would say. Nice walk to a lovely pub but hills on way back! Emporium next door.
