The Barn at Wheel Farm is a spacious 6-bedroom self-catering property comfortably accommodating 12 guests. The dog-friendly holiday home, located on the outskirts of Combe Martin on the North Devon coast is the perfect place to stay for large groups of friends, as well as families. An added bonus of staying at the newly renovated Barn is Wheel Farm's onsite leisure facilities, including a shared indoor heated swimming pool and sauna, a tennis court, a children's play area and a dog walking field. The site also has plenty of places to escape and enjoy a picnic.
Guests enter The Barn via the central courtyard and are welcomed by a tastefully decorated, modern kitchen/diner. The well-equipped kitchen area has everything you will need to cater for groups of up to 14, including two electric ovens, an induction hob, a large fridge freezer, a dishwasher, and plenty of pots, pans, cutlery, crockery and glassware. There is also lots of storage space and work surfaces for storing and preparing food. Alongside the kitchen is a large dining area with big wood table to seat 14 (a second table can also be used if needed for larger groups booked into a second property at Wheel Farm). A sofa and flat-screen TV can also be found in the kitchen/dining area making this a great communal area for guests to gather.
Double, glass-fronted doors lead through from the kitchen to the spacious living room, which has large comfy sofas, a flat-screen TV and access to the rear garden.
There are six bedrooms at The Barn, the first three, including a double, a twin and a bunk room can be found at the top of the staircase accessed via the kitchen/dining room. The other three, a double with king-size bed, a twin and a bunk room can be found in the other side of the house accessed via the stairs in the living room. Both sides of the house have a first-floor family bathroom featuring a bath with shower overhead, a wash-basin and WC. A third family bathroom with large walk-in shower can be found on the ground floor.
As an alternative to the bunk beds, a sofa bed or two put up beds can be provided complete with bedding, please note there is a £20 per person charge for linen and towels if requiring these. The house also has stairgates fitted at both sets of staircases, and a travel cot and high chair can be made available on request at no additional cost.
Outside, The Barn has its own private garden and terrace for alfresco dinners. It is also an easy walk to the dog walking field.
Please note although The Barn sleeps 12 guests, larger groups are welcome and other properties onsite at Wheel Farm can be booked in conjunction with The Barn.
DOG/PET POLICY
Two dogs/pets are welcome at The Barn. There is an additional charge of £30 per dog per booking. Please notify us at time of booking, and the additional charge will be added to your booking. All payments must be made prior to arrival.
ELECTRIC CAR CHARGING
Electric car charging is available in the car park. There are additional charges payable on arrival - charged at £30 per week and £20 per long weekend.
