Also on the doorstep is a lakeside steam train and watersports on Llyn Tegid (Bala Lake) - the largest natural lake in Wales.
Other attractions in the area include the myriad of Snowdonia walks, the National White Water Centre, Zip World and Bounce Below, as well as Coed y Brenin Mountain Biking Centre. Towards the coast, you have Portmeirion and golden beaches such as Barmouth and Black Rocks, whilst castles, market towns and so much more are waiting to be discovered.
