Clare Street is a beautiful old building right in the heart of Bristol’s vibrant Old City. Packed full of character, it has been painstakingly transformed over the past 12 months into the higgihaus at clarestreet - an extraordinary boutique aparthotel comprised of just six stylish higgihaus loft apartments.

Stay.

Designed for extended stays of up to 12 months, the higgihaus loft studio apartments are comfortable, beautifully appointed, serviced micro-apartments that creatively combine the functionality of a living room, full kitchen, dining room, bedroom, bathroom and office. In the kitchen, you'll find everything you need to release your inner Gordon Ramsey, including a combination oven, microwave and induction hob. The bathroom is equipped with a spa shower that not only creates a beautiful shower experience, but it also consumes 50% less water than an 'old-school' shower. In the living area, you'll find a 4k smart TV, a Bluetooth sound system with integrated speakers and a clever desk that convert into a small dining table. We do provide a weekly housekeeping service (more frequent upon request) but, for the budding Marie Kondo's, there's a dishwasher, washing machine/tumble drier, ironing board and iron and a full complement of MadeKind consumables.

Located right where the action is, you’ll find a good slug of the best restaurants, bars, pubs, clubs & coffee shops right on the doorstep. Theatre? Cinema? Gallery? Concert? All within a few hundred metres. If shopping is your thing, then you’re spoilt for choice with Cabot Circus but a stone’s throw away (and a short one at that).

If you're visiting the city for work or study and need a beautiful place to stay in a fantastic location, then do get in touch. We have two of the six apartments currently available for stays from a few nights to several months. Please note that this apartment has a loft-style bed accessible by a ladder and may not be suitable for a less agile guest. Nightly rates vary depending on the length of stay.

## Access

The front door to the building and the door to the apartment use a keyless entry system, and you will be given the entry code 24 hours prior to check-in. Exterior video cameras are provided at the entrance to the property for your comfort and safety.

The higgihaus@clarestreet (#26), is an aparthotel comprised of a collection of self-contained private apartments for your exclusive use during your stay in our awesome city. There is no need for you to interact with us but should you need anything we'd be delighted to help. #teamhiggi are a friendly bunch who love Bristol and it is worth noting that Luke (who was born in Bristol) knows it like the back of his hand (well the best bits anyway) and he eats out a lot. Luke is thus a veritable goldmine of places to see, things to do, restaurants to eat at, bars worth a visit and how to get about. We'll provide contact numbers ahead of check-in (feel free to call and say hi).

Located right where the action is, you’ll find a good slug of the best restaurants, bars, pubs, clubs & coffee shops right on the doorstep. Cabot Circus shopping quarter is but a stone’s throw away (and a short one at that). The theatre, cinema, concert hall, St Nicholas Market, Castle Park and the floating harbour can all be reached in less than a minute's walk. The BBC, Bristol Royal Infirmary and Bristol University are all nearby.
