Positive: High Barns Cottage is the perfect base from which to explore the magnificent borderlands. It is minutes away from the beautiful market town of Morpeth but sits in a stunningly rural position with sweeping views to the Cheviot and beyond. The cottage is warm and inviting, well appointed and spotlessly clean. Our hosts, Jimmy and Kirsty, were unobtrusive but very welcoming - they left a bottle of organic milk and some sweet Northumbrian treats for our arrival; very welcome after a drive up from Dorset! We can't recommend this property highly enough.

Negative: Nothing.......and we have high standards!
