Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: Beautiful view from the room - could see the sea and farmland and we loved watching the highland cows outside our window. Room was large.

Negative: I have never written a bad review but this stay was questionable for me. There was no one to be found upon arrival. We waited 40 minutes before finding a gentleman to help us to our room. No clear signs as to where to go and after going in what appeared to be an entrance several times and not finding anyone, we ended up waiting in our car while it was pouring until we saw someone. There is no cell service or way to get ahold of anyone without being on their WiFi. Made check in stressful and frustrating. The shower did not stay warm for more than 3 minutes and it was dreadful to wash soap out of hair in freezing cold water when it was a freezing day. There was a ton of noise throughout the night and we could hear banging and what sounded like dishes clanging around upstairs until nearly midnight. Even with our own sound machine that we brought, my husband barely got any sleep all night from the noise.
