c. 1860s Grade II listed house and former stables. On its approach you cannot help but marvel at the aesethics and architectural features – the Stucco porch with Tuscan pilasters, ground floor bay windows with north-east facing sash windows over private grounds. Inside, this home’s character shines through with beautiful restored original carpentry throughout – including a wonderful open string staircase topped in a mahogany handrail and hand turned balusters. Known locally for its architectural and historical importance – this is a marvellous opportunity to holiday in a VERY unique stay.

Inside the owners have fused modern design with the traditional characters of the property perfectly. The original sash windows, architrave and high ceilings are complimented with fabulous colourful interiors, comfy furniture and on trend furnishing.

The ground floor features a sleek chateau-like reception hallway, snooker room come study, a sitting room and copper themed cocktail bar. The modern extension to the property features a brand new modern kitchen, with central island and fantastic storage in the shaker cupboards. Off the kitchen is a dining area and snug providing a living space with natural light and conservatory doors opening onto a beautiful lawned area.

All sleeping accommodation is sited on the first floor. Sleeping configuration is very flexible with a super king master bedroom (en-suite), two king size bedrooms (en-suites) and two twin bedrooms. In addition, Piglets is a self contained annexe on the property grounds, which can sleep a further two guests. There is also a shared large family bath and shower room on the first floor.

Outside guests will find a mixture of living spaces; a BBQ, pizza oven and
Al fresco dining area leading onto the heated pool.

There are mature, well maintained grounds surrounding the house for guests to explore.

Further afield, one mile away is the seaside village of Budleigh Salterton with tea rooms, pubs and restaurants. 5 miles away is Exmouth with supermarkets, shops, great restaurants and superb sporting opportunities.
