The Den occupies the first floor of a standalone annex beside our main home. It is private, gated, and covered by area CCTV for added peace of mind. The space stays wonderfully warm in winter—helped by a heated bathroom floor—and pleasantly cool in summer thanks to two double windows and three Velux roof lights. Access is via an external staircase that opens onto beautiful views across our orchard and paddock, stretching out toward farmland and the Forest of Blean.
While we don’t allow cooking on site, we provide a microwave, toaster, fridge, and tea and coffee facilities for your convenience.
We have lived in Blean for most of our lives and are deeply involved in the local community. We love gardening, the outdoors, and environmental projects. Our home reflects these values, with solar power, an air source heat pump, and a rainwater harvesting system.
