Positive: This place is a hidden gem in London. Although it is not the easiest to get to by public transportation (you have to get the overground train from Liverpool Street station), it is SO worth the effort. The apartment itself is so tastefully appointed, you can tell that its owners have exceptional style and taste. But it is not just the comfort of the place (two amazingly comfy beds- including the japanese futon style bed), it was all of the little touches that made the stay just perfect. Every little detail was thought of, from the bag of fresh ice in the freezer, to the coffee, to the lovely products in the bathroom, exceptional lighting, fantastic selection of magazines to read through while lounging on the impossibly comfortable couch. Coming back from days and nights out to this apartment felt like a sigh of relief into a womb of utter coziness. Thank you to Patrick for being such an incredible host. We will come back to this place again and again.
