Located directly above Tavern Beach with views out to the Lizard peninsula, Our Cottage is full of character. This beautifully appointed family cottage is cosy for a couple yet sleeps up to 8. Ideal for beach, boating and walking holidays, it is just a short stroll along the front from the centre of St Mawes.

The property has a delightful courtyard with external utility room and WC and there is a lovely sun deck which will be baking hot in the sun and great for barbecues. Parking in St Mawes is available in the main car park by the Rising Sun or at the Castle; off season you can park on the single yellow lines outside the property. The property itself has a spacious open plan lounge / dining room that extends all the way across the cottage. There is a working fire place at one end, wooden floor and a feature fire place at the other. Upstairs the two large double bedrooms have fantastic views across the bay as well. There is access to a courtyard round the back which has an external "Eden toilet" and utility room with shower, which is ideal for washing the sand off on return from the beach or the water. Above them is a sun terrace with sofas for lounging and table for dining al fresco. Our Cottage has been enjoyed by families over many generations and we have especially thought of children with equipment; cot, highchair and stair gate. Situated in one of the premium areas of St Mawes, a jewel in Cornwall's crown, this property is not to be missed.

There is flexible accommodation for families or groups, offering four double or eight single beds in 4 bedrooms.
Ground Floor: Sitting / dining room, kitchen and double bedroom with two single beds which, on request, can be made up as single beds or as a double bed. Back door with access to courtyard, utility room with shower and WC.
First Floor: Two double bedrooms, both with stunning sea views and each with two single beds (3'), which, on request, can either be made up as single beds or as double beds. One single with truckle bed which can be made as a double on request. Family bathroom with shower over bath, separate WC.
Exterior: Great courtyard and sun terrace.

Facilities & Services
There is night storage heating and an open fire. The kitchen has a range of modern units, electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and small freezer, dishwasher, kettle and toaster and radio. The utility room in the courtyard has a separate washing machine and tumble dryer. The sitting room has a flat screen digital TV with Freeview, BT Internet box,DVD player,and video player. There is an iron & ironing board. There are two cots, a highchair, and stairgate available.

Miscellaneous
Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are all included, but you will need to bring your own beach towels. We regret that no smoking is permitted and no dogs are permitted anywhere on the property. WiFi is available at the property.
