Vechtdalchalet De Berk is quietly located but opposite the 5-star holiday park ‘Capfun het Stoetenslagh’ and is therefore ideally suited for families with children. Around the chalet there is plenty of space, peace and quiet and woods, while across the street, there is plenty of entertainment in the 5-star Cap Fun Stoetenslagh park, which may be used for the most enjoyable holiday!
The comfortable chalet is tastefully furnished and has 2 patio doors to the large garden with terrace and lovely large covered veranda with pull-out screen to sit out of sight. Perfect for those slightly less sunny days. The living room has a sofa and 2 wicker poufs (with pillow) that can be used as a table or chair. Above the sofa is an air conditioner. Inside a dining table with 4 chairs, outside a dining table with 6 chairs. The kitchen is equipped with appliances such as combination microwave oven, fridge with freezer compartment, Nespresso machine, kettle and all kitchen utensils, including grill and airfaiyer. The bathroom has recently been renewed with a lovely spacious shower. The garden house has a washing machine and dryer. There is also a hammock, a lounge set and sun loungers. There is a lovely large garden with parking for 1 car. There are two bedrooms; a parents' room with French doors and a 140x200 bed and a children's room with 80x200 bunk beds. All rooms have insect screens.
In the middle of nature lies the Vechtdal Chalet Stoetenslagh, directly adjacent to the Coal Burner Forest which is part of many famous hiking and biking trails. In addition, the pleasant villages such as Ommen, Hardenberg and Dedemsvaart are within reach by bicycle and car. The supermarket is only 10 minutes away by car.
Entertainment for young and old, is paramount at this holiday park. Lots of fun can be had in the spacious beach pool and the 2 giant water slides. From Easter there is a recreational programme every weekend and in high season there is an extensive activity programme for young and old. The campsite has 2 bowling alleys and an indoor swimming pool and indoor beach. Entry to the park is free, as is swimming in the recreational lake and use of the blue slides. For the indoor pool and the new outdoor pool and the large coloured (yellow/red) slides, the cost is €5.00 per day per person, which we as hosts pay for the children.
Children can use the entertainment and all play equipment at the park for free. The easiest way is to download the ‘Stoetenslagh’ app, which will give you all the information about opening hours and the entertainment programme.
