Summary: I booked this property with the mindset of a cheap stay in the city centre - which is what I got. Things that impacted my stay in the "Double Room (Lower Ground Floor, No Windows)": - Room advertised as shower/bathtub combo but I was told that non of these rooms have a bathtub - which is what's demonstrated in the pictures also. - The shower was either hot or extremely hot, could not get it cooler. - These rooms are underground and so you can hear the Liverpool metro trains regularly throughout the day/ night. - Also, as these rooms are underground, there is little ventilation but there is an attempt to fix this with a small fan that seemed to ventilate a bleachy-lemon smell throughout. These factors may well be different for the different rooms offered. As mentioned, I wanted a cheap hotel to stay in and it's what I got. Some excelling points of the hotel include TV in the room, excellent cleanliness, coffee/ tea amenities, helpful staff. Ultimately, I may stay in this hotel again, just not the lower ground floor rooms.
