Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The host was charming and accomodating. The setting is splendid. The house was clean and tidy, and all the features currently expected were there - coffee, soaps etc.

Negative: The imposition of VAT (almost £100 for five days) wasn't shown on the initial pricing. This wasn't picked up as we received five e-mails (including one that showed the final price) which I didn't open , having looked at two of the other messages. We're either coming or not, and didn't need three reminders. Normally only one is received. A writing table would have helped, and the armchairs are very low. Also, the bed is 5' and we are used to 6'.

Summary: Without the VAT, the stay would have been pleasant and fair value. Estuary setting is great.
